THE JOB:

This position supports both the Noodle Shop and Seabreeze Cafe at Mandalay Bay. We're seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Bus Person! In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations are consistently clean, well-stocked, and prepared for seamless service.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.3687

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset any additional tabletop items needed

• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles

• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently

• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed

• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One year of experience in a similar service role, such as Bus Person or Food Server

• Exhibits proficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
