JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
We are seeking skilled bakers to join our Bread and Pastry teams at Red Hen Baking Co. In these roles, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries or breads, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established recipes.
Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Pay and Benefits
Bakers start at a training wage directly related to experience and move to a proficiency pay of $21.65. Pay is evaluated at several stages in the first year and then annually after that.
