Building Maintenance Worker Job Description As a Building Maintenance Worker, you will ensure that all building systems are functioning properly by performing preventative maintenance tasks, repairing various systems as needed, and assisting in the planning, management, and completion of facility improvement projects. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems. Repair HVAC, plumbing, drywall, lighting fixtures, and equipment as needed. Assist in snow removal during winter. Help with additional responsibilities as required. Essential Skills Experience in building maintenance, electrical repair, and facilities maintenance. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot. Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, and facility maintenance. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and carpentry. Working knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read piping and wiring schematics is a plus. Good mechanical skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Why Work Here?
