The Lounge Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons of the restaurant or lounge while practicing all established control systems. Promoting food and beverage sales while observing all local and state liquor laws andpany policies. Creates a positively memorable experience to patrons through exceptional quality and service.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greets all guests and associates in a friendly manner.

Displays exceptional customer service skills and understands rules of etiquette/flow of service for serving tables.

Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of lounge bar.

Wash and sanitize glasses and utensils. Maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the lounge bar and seating areas.

Serve all food in beverages with professionalism and attention to detail.

Check guest's identification in order to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for consumptions of alcoholic beverages.

Ensure secure valid method of payment for all transactions. Receive payment by cash, credit/debit card or vouchers and issues receipts or change due to guests.

Presents guests with menus, suggested dinner courses, appropriate wines and answers questions regarding menu and food preparation.

Communicates orders with the kitchen or restaurant.

Ensures that drinks or dishes are prepared and presented correctly before serving to guest.

Observes guests to fulfill any additional requests from the guest and perceives when guest ispleted.

Knowledge of restaurant POS systems. Knows how to properly open and close checks via the POS system.

Ability to take menu orders over the phone andmunicate with restaurant team to execute delivery.

Completes all side work duties and ensures that the dining room is clean andanized, ensuring that the following shift is set up for success.

Answer guest inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and local area information

Maintain confidentiality of guest and proprietary information, protectingpany assets.

Handles guest challenges in a friendly and courteous manner

Answers all phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner.

Comply with all Legacy Hotel and IMG credit policies.

Handle requests for information, mail and messages in an efficient and courteous manner.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.

Maintain regular attendance inpliance with Legacy Hotel and IMG standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Establish and maintain goodmunications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.

Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required.

Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times whenmunicating with other employees.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Previous experience bartending in hotel or restaurant lounge/bar is preferred.

Strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.

TIPS/ServSafe certification is required before working.

Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

Must maintainposure and objectivity while in stressful, high pressure situations.

Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests.

Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.

Must have a positive attitude and have a team mindset.

Ability to assist when needed.

Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move objects weighing 60 lbs. or more

Ability to stand for durations of shift.
