Come join the WINNERS of Best Deli for 425 Magazine. Our shop is a fun, innovative meat shop and deli. We are looking for a person who has attention to detail, a desire to make some amazing foods and great customer service skills. You will be focused on the deli s& backyard BBQ preparing artisan sandwiches, salads and creating mind-blowing smoked meats and burgers for our amazing community.
Responsibilities:
Helping chef prep veggies and meats: We prepare a number of items daily for our sandwiches and salads. This will include using knives, slicer, smoker and grill.
Picking up orders from local farms: Driving to local farms and picking up veggie orders.
Making grilled and smoked meats: curing and brining meats for the smoker/grill.
Keeping area clean: Doing dishes and sweeping as needed, wiping down and cleaning deli case.
Working with Chef and Butcher Staff: You will be cross trained on all aspects of our business and will work closely with the butchers, chef and other deli staff.
Customer service: We operate in a small community of great people; we expect great customer service.
Talk about products we carry and items on the menu.
Opening /Closing Deli: Following opening and or closing check list and making sure that everything is ready for the next day. - previous experience working in a professional kitchen, 3-5yrs preferred but will train the right motivated candidates.
People with experience smoking meats and grilling over charcoal/gas will have preference.
Must work weekends but flexible with notice.
Dependable transportation.

Living within 20 miles is a plus
