Under new management, we're building a positive, team-oriented environment and looking for great people to grow with us. Position Overview: We're hiring a reliable and personable Counter Person to join our team. You'll be the face of the shopgreeting customers, taking orders, preparing food and beverages, and helping keep things running smoothly behind the counter. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Prepare bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and other menu items to order - Operate the register and handle cash/credit transactions - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Restock food, coffee, and paper goods throughout the day - Assist with opening and/or closing tasks - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines - Work as a team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment Qualifications: - Prior experience in food service or customer service preferred (but not required) - Strong communication and people skills - Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure - Dependable, punctual, and a team player - Comfortable working early morning shifts - Willingness to learn, take initiative, and jump in where needed - Fast-paced and organized, with a sense of urgency At Goodies, we take pride in our food, our service, and our people.
