Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. We are offering a $5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus is paid out in $2500 following completion of 90 days and $2500 at completion of 180 days.* *Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus. This position is on a rotating schedule. The hours are 6:00am - 6:00pm. Role Overview: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. In this job you will: Be responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed. Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor. Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Read manuals, diagrams, part lists, blueprint, schematics, and service manuals. Use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Applicant must possess basic computer skills. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift 70 lbs. daily. The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours. The Team Member will complete all required training for the job. The Team Member will work in a cold, damp to hot environment. The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required. You will qualify for this position if you: Have 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. *Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.
