The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Innis seeking an experienced and team-oriented candidate for the Maitre D' position.
We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to ensures guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. The Maitre d' oversees reservations, seating arrangements, staff coordination, and overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and manage the flow of the floor.
Manage reservations, seating charts, and waitlists to optimize guest experience.
Supervise and coordinate the host, waitstaff, and support staff to ensure seamless service.
Resolve guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure special requests and dietary needs are met.
Ensure the dining area is clean, presentable, and adheres to safety and health regulations.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of hospitality, professionalism, and excellence.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Maitre d', head host, or in a fine dining front-of-house role.
High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multitask.
Able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
Outstanding people skills.
Ability to work under pressure and high-paced work environment.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Physical Demands: Physical, Mental and workplace Environment Conditions
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk
Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus

The noise level in this office is usually mild to moderate
