Responsible for delivering housekeeping supplies throughout campus and performing other general sanitation and janitorial responsibilities on a 400-acre campus. Help maintain cleanliness levels in all areas of the property.
Position Responsibilities
Deliver cleaning supplies and other related inventory to the housekeeping team across campus
Responsible for trash and recycle pick-up and removal from various areas of campus
Safely load and unload large shipments or pallets of housekeeping supplies
Perform basic repair and maintenance on housekeeping tools like vacuums
Responsible for the repair and installation of fixtures and dispensers
Stock and restock inventory supplies across campus as needed
Responsible for delivery of dirty and clean linens to various areas of campus
Provide internal and external customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
Identify areas that need repair and complete maintenance tickets as appropriate
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience
Working knowledge of the English language, written and verbal
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Bilingual - English and Spanish
Previous customer service experience
Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 75lbs
Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks
Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weather
Ability to operate a golf cart safely and efficiently
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Requires the use of stairs on a consistent basis
Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Background Requirements:
