Actors Fund Home, an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating, seeks a Full- Time Housekeeper for the 11:30am-8:00pm shift.

JOB DUTIES
Clean resident rooms including bathrooms and floors on a daily basis
Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, nursing station areas, lounges, stairways and offices
Empty trash and restock housekeeping supplies as needed
Assist with laundry department
Perform other housekeeping functions as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency certificate required
Ability to understand and communicate in English required
Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Must be able to work with all cleaning equipment as well as laundry and cleaning chemicals
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry supplies up to 25 pounds
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Flexibility with schedule and assignments
Must be adaptable to change and able to deal with crisis and emergencies
ABOUT THIS POSITION
This is a hourly position (40hrs) based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The shift requirements for this position are 11:30am-8:00pm and availability for every other weekend. You will be expected to cover assigned shifts, including holidays, and should be available to cover vacationscall outs on occasion. This position is covered by the SEIU 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
