Front Services Ambassador Sr. (Bell Captain)- Full Time, Front Services (Harrah's SoCal)

Transports luggage to and from outside areas such as the Porte of the hotel to guest rooms and other areas deemed appropriate. Provides information and directions to guests regarding all services available on property. Provides aggressive hospitality in a friendly manner by extending a helping hand to all incoming and outgoing guests with luggage in accordance with Family-Style Service. Resolves customer issues according to Family-Style Service training. Constantly seeks ways to improve friendly, helpful service and reduce customer wait time to positively impact departments guest service ratings.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience as a Bell Person/Doorman preferred.
• A minimum of one-year customer service experience in a position where the primary job duty is direct customer contact, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service.

• Acknowledges and greets each guest with enthusiasm and prescribed terminology immediately upon the guests arrival.
• Creates an excitement through guest interaction and conversation.
• Executes Family-Style Service by accurately transporting guests luggage to the room assigned after the registration process is completed.
• Picks up guests luggage upon departure and transports to the form of transportation or delivers for storage.
• Provides exceptional guest service by providing guests with information regarding Hotel/Casino amenities, special events, and travel directions.
• Assist guests with room changes and maintains room key security.
• Actively participates in maintaining a Spotless and safe working environment.
• Completes required logging information and submits and forwards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follows and ensures compliance with all established safety and security guidelines.

• Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourage others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

• Must genuinely like people and possess an outgoing personality.
• Must have the ability to easily converse in English.
• Ability to lift heavy luggage repeatedly.
• Must be able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside, sometimes in temperatures more than 115 degrees and as cold as 10 degrees.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift objects that weigh up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to push and/or pull heavy rolling loads in excess of 300 pounds.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Works closely with chemicals such as glass and hard surface cleaning solutions.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.

Pay: $16.50 plus tips
