Job Details Job Summary

The Dishwasher will ensure that all dishes, pots, pans, utensils etc, for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized. The Dishwashing team works in cohesion with the rest of the team to ensure all items are properly organized and accounted for.

Schedule
Must be able to work Monday-Saturday between 3pm-11pm. Shifts will vary based on business needs.

Job Duties
  • Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
  • Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
  • Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
  • Cleans trash receptacles with water and cleaning solution.
  • Sweet and mop floors along with cleaning various areas of the kitchen as instructed.
  • Must follow the PM duties checklist and ensure that areas are completed within their shift.
  • Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using carts.
  • May assist in the terrace area during peak times.
  • Throw out garbage and break down boxes as needed.
  • Keep all work areas clean and clear to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
  • At least 1 year in a similar role
  • Restaurant or Hospitality experience preferred, but not required
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers Certificate
  • Ability to understand, read and follow directions.
  • Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
  • Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
  • Ability to work effectively with kitchen team
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, up to 10-12 hours.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
  • Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
  • Must be able to work in a loud and busy kitchen environment.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $18.00)
