Duties include: Medical waste, garbage, linen, and corridor cleaning.

A Brief OverviewResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned area. Responsible for proper removal of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste.
What you will do
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas.
- Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass and replacing light bulbs.
- Maintains clean/neat floor surfaces as assigned. This may entail, but not limited to: dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming.
- Dispose of all trash in an appropriate manner including the pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.
- Participates in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- High School or GED Equivalent :or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
