THE JOB:

As a Sommelier at ARIA Resort & Casino , you are a key architect of the luxury dining experience. Your expert understanding of our diverse and thoughtfully curated wine selections, combined with a refined approach to food and wine pairing, enhances every guest interaction with sophistication and care.

THE STARTING RATE: 14.9785 + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain complete knowledge of wine list, and wine and food pairing

• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of work station

• Maintain and update cellar/storage inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in designated area

• Eliminate waste by training and supervising employees on wine knowledge, pour levels, proper storage, etc

• Verify accuracy of wine delivery ordered and received from the main warehouse and return or exchange deliveries when a warehouse error has occurred

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least one year of prior experience in similar role with wine knowledge and certification as a Sommelier

• wine knowledge is preferred

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education
