SUMMARY : The EVS Laborer is responsible for assisting the EVS staff with keeping the property clean and safe. They will keep company grounds, inside and outside of casino, free of debris and litter, accept incoming deliveries of Internal Maintenance/EVS products, such as cleaning chemicals, cleaning utensils and machinery, and label, sort, wrap and pack the products as necessary before the EVS staff uses them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans all machinery that is used by the EVS department.
- Responsible for organizing and labeling all machinery, cleaning utensils (mops, brooms, trash cans, etc.), and cleaning chemicals that is used by the department.
- Maintains a safe and clean working area by cleaning up any spills or debris from the public areas and back of the house areas when spotted. Calls EVS Attendants and Utility Porters in the event of a major spill, accident, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the EVS Manager.
- Must be available for scheduled work.
- Must exhibit the Family Service model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Six months to one year of detailed floor cleaning experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if applicable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists. Must be able to comprehend and understand communications between Supervisory Staff, Co-Workers and Guests.
