Front of House staff needed at Brotzeit Lokal German Restaurant on the Oakland waterfront. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional individual to join our team. Various shifts available: 25-35 hrs per week.
Lead Server: Must be experienced (e.g. 2 yrs as a lead server or 4+ years as a server with some related supervising experience) in a full service restaurant, be friendly, energetic, hard-working, flexible & professional. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Experience or ability to bartend is required. Good cash handling, staff supervision, and excellent judgment are needed for this position. You must be available for a variety of shifts including Friday, Saturday & Sunday, day and evening shifts. Recent experience with Toast or similar POS required. Passion for food and beer a must. Teamwork, reliability, integrity and a positive attitude under pressure are a must. $50-65/hr+ with tips. High volume experience a must. Must be able to lift 20+ lbs frequently throughout shift, stand for 6+ hrs, bend, stoop, reach, grip and walk for extended periods of time, carry and lift heavy objects frequently.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and financially rewarding environment.
Must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays as business dictates.
