The Spokane Club is seeking a polished, professional Front Desk Associate to serve as the first impression for our distinguished members and guests. This highly visible position requires exceptional customer service skills and represents the Club's commitment to excellence in every interaction.
What You'll DoGuest Services & Registration
- Greet all visitors with professionalism and warmth, providing exceptional customer service
- Process hotel guest check-ins and check-outs using club software systems
- Create and manage hotel reservations while monitoring room availability and rates
- Handle cash, credit transactions, and render bills following established procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping on room status updates, special requests, and maintenance needs
Communication & Administrative Support
- Manage incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette and redirect appropriately
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages
- Stay informed about Club information and communicate it enthusiastically to members and guests
- Operate front office equipment including ID card creator, mail machine, fax, and parking gates
- Maintain accurate records and follow security control procedures for room keys
Facility Management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk, lobby, and coat check areas
- Act as bell person/concierge when necessary
- Coordinate guestroom maintenance with engineering department
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to Hotel Operations Manager
- Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures
Required:
- Previous front desk experience in hotel environment preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for high-end private club
- Proficiency with various software programs and basic typing skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
