Schedule:
- 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Sunday - Thursday with Friday & Saturday off regularly.
- Availability to pick up Friday & Saturday occasionally to cover PTO etc.

About the Facility – Eating Recovery Center, Evergreen (Juniper Unit)
Located in Denver, CO, the Juniper Unit at Eating Recovery Center – Evergreen is a Child & Adolescent care facility serving approximately 50 guests daily. Our team supports patients with a variety of dietary needs, including food allergies and special diets. Attention to detail and care in food preparation are essential. The cold/snack cook will work closely with the kitchen supervisor and a supportive culinary team in a structured, patient-focused environment.

You Will:
- Serves meals by reviewing recipes and portion guides; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen and in accordance with standard food safety procedures.
- Attends to the detail and presentation of each order according to diet restrictions, allergies, and prescribed meal plan.
- Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas throughout the work day.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new employees. Instructs personnel in use of new equipment and cleaning methods and provides efficient and effective methods of maintaining work area
- Assist with other duties as assigned
You Will Need:
- Minimum of one (1) year of hospital, institutional, or restaurant cooking experience to include food preparation
- Current SERVSAFE certification or has successfully completed an approved food safety sanitation course
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to stand for long durations from 2-4 hours, and up to 8 hours of time.
- Execute and complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists.
- Complete daily food prep lists and prep as assigned by the Supervisor and Chef.
