Seeking individuals to join our team at our Broadway location.
Twisted Croissant is a small, family-owned, award winning Bakery focused on serving world class croissants, pastries, desserts and coffee. We are looking for dynamic, reliable, customer service-oriented individuals to join our team at either our Broadway location.
We are looking to hire Full-time and Part-time colleagues who aim to be equally adept in both barista skills, and baked good & pastry knowledge. Here you will find an immense wealth of experience-based acumen in baking and specialty coffee preparation. You will be successful if you're willing to with us your hard-working ethic, passion for baked goods, specialty coffee and cafe culture.
Barista/Bakery Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with Specialty Coffees
- Handling cash and credit card transactions via Square POS
- Strong ability to multitask while stayinganized
- Providing kind and engaging customer service
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Preparing consistent and high quality coffee and tea beverages in a timely manner
- Boxing pastry orders and preparing pre-orders
- Able to speak extensively about the products we offer and answer customer questions
-Operate the Square POS system fluently
Our shifts are 6 hours, generally, and the ideal candidate will have weekend, morning, and evening availability.
Please note this role requires both working the Counter/Register and Coffee station. Weekday shifts are often partly solo shifts. The ability to multitask, identify priority and work while no one is watching is paramount. Effectively managing downtime, and switching gears to handle a sporadically high volume clientele is a much needed skill set.

Compensation:
Tips are pooledpany wide, from all locations, and average $5+/hour. Tips are pooled during each pay period and distributed equally among all team members, based on hours worked. All cash tips are kept by the Front-End worker/s and do not need to be included in the tip pool.
