Participate in food service and food preparationactivities while adhering to high quality standards and sanitationprocedures. Location: Boone, NCRequirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with dietary coordinator to plan andexecute patient menus - Provide PCU staff & patients with patientmenu options weekly - Prepare and deliver patient meals accordingto menu, patient dietary preferences, and in compliance withspecial diets - Prepare and maintain food at required temperaturesin accordance with federal and state regulations - Ensure patientmeals are delivered at the specified times in policy and procedure- Prepare adequate meal options for patients and maintain thenourishment areas for PCU staff to serve after dietary servicehours - Check and record required documentation logs - Ensurekitchen equipment is in good working order and maintained permanufacturers guidelines and kept in clean conditions - Cooperatewith all government agencies and outside auditors - Transport mealsto other locations as needed - Work with dietary coordinator tomaintain adequate food and supplies based on menus and patientcensus - Receive and inspect food service deliveries to ensurequality and accuracy - Plan & execute catering requests as needed -Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: - Excellent written and oralcommunication skills - Excellent computer skills - Provenperformance in meeting deadlines with a high rate of accuracy -Excellent telephone skills - Knowledge of therapeutic diets &guidelines MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: - High School DiplomaRequiredExperience: - Working knowledge of health care food servicepreferredLicensures & Certifications: (if applicable): - ServSafe -will be required within 6 months PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Walking, standing, sitting, driving - Handdexterity to include writing; typing; filing records - Ability tooccasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds - Specific visionabilities required are close vision and distance vision with theability to adjust focus SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must have an automobile with requiredinsurance coverage and state driver's license PI6da77241037e-37...
