To maintain expert knowledge of the Pelican food menuand beverage program, including beer knowledge and cocktail recipeknowledge. Provide exemplary service to all guests and be aresource for fellow team members. Responsible for providingexemplary guest service, communicating effectively and efficientlywith FOH and BOH, and maintaining cleanliness and stocking of bar.Understands the importance of being hospitable, friendly, andcommunicative with guests to ensure a positive dining experience atthe Pelican.Communicates effectively and promptly with team membersabout any ticket issues, beer changes or 86'd beverages duringshift as well as information about cocktail recipes and beerdescriptors. Assists in training and onboarding of new team membersboth on food menu and bar program. Responsible for assisting withbar inventory if needed. Responsible for cash handling. Responsiblefor understanding and maintaining all OLCC rules and documentingany incidents. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment andmaintain composure in unforeseen situations. Understand and providefive-star service to all guests. Maintain a clean bar top and barspace. Responsible for changing kegs and troubleshooting the beerdraft system on a basic level. Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment.Resolve guest complaints as he/she becomes aware ofthem, notifying the manager of any complaints received and striveto resolve guest issues. Assists other service personnel as needed.Performs all duties in accordance with the Family of Companies andPelican customer service standard.
