Experienced Line Cook at The View $18.00 $20.00/hour (dependent on experience)The Mirror Lake Inn is looking for professional line cooks to join the team at The View Restaurant, known for its locally influenced fine dining menus. Experience is necessary, Fine Dining experience is a plus. The View restaurant is AAA Four Diamond rated. Theres opportunity for growth and advancement. Youll work with great people in a fun work environment producing quality food in a clean, professional atmosphere. We are looking for professional line cooks to prepare food to the exact chefs specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals. Full Time or Part-Time year-round positions are available. We are Lake Placids finest dining establishment.RESPONSIBILITIESSet up and preparation of station for serviceCook menu items to order in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffFollow executive or sous chefs instructionsBreak down station and clean kitchen at end of shiftEnsure high quality standards for foodComply with sanitation regulations, allergy protocols and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers REQUIREMENTS -Experience is necessary.
