TDC is a residential facility located in Northwest Ohio. We support youth aged 10-17 and adults with developmental disabilities. We have a large rural campus which provides opportunities for our residents to be active in addition to being part of our community. Our direct care staff and nurses provide 24/7 care to the individuals who call TDC home. We focus on support and stabilization so our individuals can integrate into an environment that best meets their wants and needs.
Job Description
What You Will Do as a Cook 1:
Preparing (e.g. cleaning, cutting, slicing, mixing & texturizing) and cooking (e.g. baking, boiling & grilling) food for the individuals residing at the facility according to prescribed diets.
Operation of commercial kitchen equipment.
Storage of food with attention to expiration dates.
Cleaning work area, equipment & utensils.

Qualifications
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in food preparation, sanitation & storage & use of food service equipment in institutional, school or restaurant setting.
-Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
