As apart time Cafe Server it will be your responsibility to tailor the Cafeexperience to each guest providing food and beverage services in afriendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in asuperior level of guest satisfaction. Built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee offers729 well-appointed guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meetingand event space. Greetguests and explain specials & promotions. Record and input guest ordersinto the Point of Sale system. Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orderswith condiments; follow liquor regulations. Replenish beverages andensure overall guest satisfaction. Collect payment, thank guests, andinvite them to return. Complete side work and cleaning tasks includingrestocking and replenishing condiments. Maintain self-bankingprocedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager. Whatdo you bring to the role? Prior food, beverage, cash handling andhospitality experience preferred. Innate desire to serve and ability tomaintain service and departmental standards. Basic knowledge of food &beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items. Proficient inEnglish for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guestcommunication. Recall and promote menu items. Maintain professionaldemeanor and clean uniform. What\'s in it for you?
