We are seeking a reliable and experienced **Maintenance Mechanic** to join our growing operations and keep our equipment running at peak performance.

**Position Summary**

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment, vehicles / trucks, trailers, and turf machinery. This role ensures equipment is safe, operational, and available to meet project demands across various sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on trucks, trailers, tractors, compactors, and turf installation equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical issues and execute timely repairs (hydraulic, electrical, diesel/gasoline engines).

- Maintain detailed maintenance records and track service intervals.

- Coordinate to schedule equipment servicing without disrupting jobsite activity.

- Troubleshoot breakdowns in the field and perform on-site repairs when necessary.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.

- Maintain shop cleanliness, inventory of parts, and tool organization.

- Assist in equipment transport and staging for job sites as needed.

**Requirements**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.

- 3 years of experience in equipment or heavy machinery repair (construction or agricultural industry preferred).

- Knowledge of maintenance repairs, such as brakes, lights, and trailer maintenance.

- Knowledge of diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.

- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Able to work independently and respond quickly to job-site issues.

**Physical Requirements**

- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

- Work in outdoor environments and field conditions.

- Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
