Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic and talented Dietary Cook. The incumbent will be responsible for high quality service to patients, staff, and visitors through the preparation and serving of meals and keeping the dining area clean. Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Key Responsibilities include: Prepare hot and cold foods via documented recipes and production sheets While providing excellent customer service, portion foods on customers' plates or in approved packaging Take, record, and monitor food temperatures of food items Accept and reconcile deliveries and put away stock, maintain adequate supply to the self-service items and ensure the items are properly displayed Clean, sanitize and maintain the cafeteria and dining room equipment to sanitation standards as required by regulatory and state agencies Transport trash to disposal area; Maintains compactor containers and trash cart in a clean and sanitary condition at all times
