Hourly/Nonexempt: Wage: $20 hourly

Position Description: This is a seasonal, highly physical position that demands focus, attention to detail, and the ability to operate specialized machinery. Must be available Monday-Friday till 5 PM. This position will end on Sept 28th, 2025.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Make dairy and vegan ice cream bases

Operate ice cream batch freezer properly and efficiently

Operate pinting machine

Produce all baked goods and ribbons for ice cream

Able to read and follow all recipe and process instructions

Able to keep goods within optimal temperature range throughout the production process

Wash dishes properly and efficiently

Protect the quality and integrity of Fifty Licks product

Proactivelymunicate any concern of product quality

Safety-minded and aware of safety culture within a kitchen/production setting

Able to safely work with sharp and hot objects

Uphold Fifty Licks core values

Contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace

Communicate any repair, maintenance, safety, and other needs or concerns to the Production Manager

Education and/or Experience:

one year experience in a production kitchen

Previous experience in baking and pastry

A fundimimental understanding of pastry techniques requiered

Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work 4+ shifts per week, including some holidays

Ability to multitask

Strong time management skills

Able tomunicate ideas, thoughts, and concerns

Reading and mathematical skills

Proactive approach to work/self-starter

Problem-solving & reasoning ability, attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Experience baking cakes, cookies, brownies, etc.

Experience making caramels, working with hot sugar, and other confectionary skills
