MAINTENANCE WORKER I - STREETS
The City of Weatherford's Transportation and Public Works Department is looking to hire a Maintenance Worker I to assist the Streets Division. This position will aid in the repair, construction and maintenance of the City's streets and surface drainage system. If you think you'd be a good fit, we would like to hear from you.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
Shoveling asphalt, hot mix or operating various equipment such as a jack hammer.
Creating, repairing, painting or installing a variety of street signs and barricades.
Direct and control traffic while performing construction duties in high traffic areas.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two years' experience performing maintenance, construction or repair duties on streets and or roadways. Must have a valid Class C or Class A Texas CDL license. If no CDL, must possess the ability to obtain one within 180 days of employment.
