Espresso Clerk

Are you a coffee lover? We are at Uncle Giuseppe's! We have an exciting opportunity for a PT Espresso Clerk at our Morris Plains , NJ Store . Bring your cheerful, customer service and teamwork attitude to our coffee bar. Excellent communication skills and cash register experience are required!

Our Barista-Espresso Clerks are responsible for making and serving beverages to customers at our Espresso and Coffee bars.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
• Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
• Answering customers questions about menu choices
• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Taking payment from customers
• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
• Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu
• Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
• Focus on customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
• Must be efficient and organized
• Build good relationships with customers
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime
• Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
