5913807 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Morris Midwest, is a division of

Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution

networks in North America. It is a regional distributor of CNC machine

tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support

services. We are seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician

willing to learn. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work

Responsibilities The Preventative Maintenance Technician will have a

basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to

successfully provide scheduled maintenance of CNC production equipment

through the use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material

handling equipment. Duties include but are not limited to. \* Daily

travel from home to Customer facilities with occasional overnight hotel

stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the

designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training

programs. \* Demonstrating a desire to help others and be a team member.

\* Applying machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and

vendor resources to research machine parts and service. \* Provide a

direct communication link between the Customer and the Morris Service

Group. \* Aligning with safety laws and maintaining a clean, orderly

work area. \* Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on

customer machine tool equipment and conducting maintenance training to

customer employees. \* Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge

of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.

\* Proficient English verbal and written communication and Customer

relation skills. \* Able to interact and effectively communicate in

person and over the phone with customer and co-workers. \* Present a

professional image. \* Must be adaptable to changes and able to take

care of change, delays, or general work-related issues. \* Basic digital

literacy and proven understanding of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook

and other business programs. \* Must have, and/or be willing/capable of

being trained to develop, electro-mechanical skills (motors, drives,

transformers etc.). \* Knowledge of machine tool manufacture,

installation, operation, maintenance & repair and/or a broad shop

background - is a plus. \* Basic mechanical and logical troubleshooting

skills are a must. \* Rational decision making and problem-solving

skills. \* Manufacturing experience in CNC machine tool repair a plus.

\* Experience with multi-control systems environment is required,

troubleshooting skills a plus. \* The ability to read and interpret

drawings and schematics. \* Excellent technical, communication, and
