The ideal Lead Host candidate is positive, has a big personality, responsible, hands-on, and a team player that has strong communication skills and can handle multiple tasks in a friendly manner with grace and composure.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Manage the schedule for the greeter team
  • Train and mentor new members of the greeter team
  • Ordering coffee, tea, and other products for the restaurant
  • Input on the greeter training programs
  • Able to work well with others and build a greeter team
  • Ability to work the front door solo on busy shifts
  • Strong understanding of OpenTable
  • Be happy and constantly smiling!
  • To make regulars at our neighborhood restaurant!
  • Welcome our guests with a friendly demeanor into our home
  • Understand table numbers, seat positions, and flow of service
  • Be graceful in answering telephones, confirming reservations, and showing guests to tables
  • Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
  • Derive pleasure from providing genuine hospitality

Salary/Benefits

  • Part-time or full-time availability
  • Average $16-$20 an hour depending on experience with OpenTable Guest Center
  • Premium PPO Health and Dental insurance through Independence Blue Cross for full-time employees (30+ hours per week)

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $20.00)
