Job Details SCOFFLAW is hiring a Barback to join our bar team.Barbacks at Scofflaw are responsible for assisting the bartenders and serving our guests with a hospitality focus.
We are looking for someone who is interested in learning about classic cocktails, learning about how to make syrups and cocktail batches, and someone who is excited to learn under our bar manager. Applicants must be able to work quickly and independently.
Job Requirements:
Barback experience in a high volume bar, cocktail experience a plus.
Positive hospitality focused attitude and a team player
Job Duties:
Prepping for service
Helping bartenders behind the bar
Stocking
Interacting with and serving guests
Making call & well drinks
Processing payments
Closing and cleaning
Other duties as assigned
Able to work late nights (barbacks will be scheduled between 4PM and 2AM)
Available to work 1 to 2 shifts per week.
Availability to work 10 hour shifts. Ability to stay organized, work cleanly, and stay calm in a busy environment
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs.
Must be 21 or older.
Has or is willing to get both Food Handler & BASSET Alcohol certifications within 30 days of start date.
Reliable availability and transportation.

Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
