Banquet Sous Chef

Hank's Seafood Restaurant is located in a turn-of-the-century warehouse overlooking the Charleston City Market. Hank's Seafood has been beautifully renovated to an ambiance that reflects Charleston's port history and family roots.

This individual is a true culinary wizard who loves bringing events to life, while working diligently behind-the-scenes in overseeing every exacting detail. They know that great food can take an experience from special to extraordinary; they aspire to consistently set and exceed this standard. They are meticulous and consistent with an eye for detail and a flair for creativity.

Requested Tasks

-Work closely with the Executive Banquet Chef and culinary team to design creative and innovative menu options

-Assist in managing kitchen operations, providing leadership and guidance

-Monitor food quality and safety standards; oversee inventory needs

-Budget and costs oversight

-Assist with overseeing Team Members as needed

Requested Capabilities

-Prior experience as an Executive Sous Chef highly preferred

-Able to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards

-Guest-first mentality; excellent communication skills

-Excellent attention to detail and highly organized

-Prior team leadership highly preferred
