Emerson is seeking a professional and personable receptionist who serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and friendly assistance. This role is responsible for running front desk operations, handling inquiries, and supporting general administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit and advise them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls courteously and efficiently.
  • Maintain security and sign-in procedures for guests.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room calendars.
  • Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, copying, and data entry.
  • Maintain a well-kept and presentable reception area.

You work collaboratively across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You provide timely and useful information to others across the organization. You establish and maintain effective customer relationships.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant years of administrative/receptionist experience commensurate with the level of the position.
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Good Communication skills at all level of an organization.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • 3+ years of administrative/receptionist experience.
