THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Runner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring our guests enjoy unforgettable dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include expertly transporting and presenting orders, maintaining a seamless flow of service, and assisting in exceeding guest expectations at every turn. You'll also help create a welcoming atmosphere by supporting essential cleaning and side duties. If youre passionate about food and hospitality, come be part of our dynamic team!

THE STARTING RATE: $14.2645 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections

• Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation

• Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately

• Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach

• Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment

• Anticipate the guests needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

• Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries

• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required

• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior relevant experience working in a similar gourmet restaurant

• Brings energy, flexibility, and a team-focused attitude to every shift while staying calm and efficient in fast-paced environments

• Confidently recommends food and beverage pairings using strong product knowledge and a polished, guest-first service approach

• 4 or more years of experience in a similar gourmet dining setting?

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
