The Opportunity:

Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. It is located on a picturesque, 96-acre campus in south Kansas City (near Longview Lake) providing serenity, beauty and privacy to assist with the healing process.

Shift Details: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

The Work:

The Receptionist is the initial, positive contact point for patient and customer encounters.

• Answer questions visitors may have.

• Initiate registration process

• Works closely with the Intake and Security department

• Duties include basic office procedures, telephone and face-to-face customer communications, and other clerical duties to support the patient care areas

• Answer main Crittenton phone line and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner

• Receive deliveries

• Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed

• Maintain the reception area

Requirements:

• 1 year of relevant experience in an office environment

• Medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Strong phone skills

• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance

• Excellent customer service skills

• Punctual with strong attendance history
