Oceans Healthcare will expand behavioral health services in Jackson. Oceans Healthcare of Jackson, a 77-bed facility will expand inpatient capacity for adult and senior behavioral health patients and add new services, including an intensive outpatient program. The freestanding hospital will be located on the St. Dominic's campus.

The Cook performs a variety of volume food preparation tasks. Plans cooking schedules and directs the work of assistants in a professional manner. Ensures patient satisfaction. All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies and procedures, and Performance Improvement standards.

Essential Functions:
\n\n
\n\t
- Plans daily cooking schedule to meet deadlines and follows standardized recipes.\n\t
- Directs the work of assistants and aides in a professional manner.\n\t
- Prepares and serves meals per menus, physician orders, resident preferences, and therapeutic diet spreadsheet.\n\t
- Assures food is served as proper temperatures and records these temperatures.\n\t
- Makes proper food substitutions within food groups as directed.\n\t
- Serves food on tray line at mealtime.\n\t
- Cleans, sanitizes, and covers kitchen equipment and follows listed cleaning assignments.\n\t
- Prepares for the following day's menu.\n\t
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.\n\t
- Other duties as assigned.\n
