ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Provide room orientation and assist owners/guests with their luggage.
- Deliver requested amenities.
- Assist in obtaining transportation to various resort locations.
- Provide directions to the local resort and surrounding areas.
- Maintain lobby cleanliness.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Candidates will have three plus years of related hospitality experience preferably within a Guest Services / Bellman environment.
- Experience working in a Resort Front Office environment including previous work in a customer service capacity is desired but not required.
- Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be knowledgeable of the resort amenities and activities that occur.
- Must be knowledgeable of the Orlando attractions, area and activities that occur.
- Some knowledge of current PMS.
- Ability to check in and out guests using current PMS.
- Ability to review and talk about owner records.
- Ability to make keys.
- Some knowledge of Asgard.
- Some knowledge of Salesforce.
- Ability to book various reservations through approved vendors.
- Ability to speak and understand fluent English.
- Ability to speak and understand multiple languages is preferred.
- Must be able to establish and foster positive relationships with owners, guests, co-workers and vendors.
- Must have strong verbal skills to communicate to the guests / owners.
- Must be able to promote a positive, friendly, welcoming and “at your service” environment.
- Must be able to recognize owner / assigned guests by name.
- Ability to address adverse situations to guest’s satisfaction mirroring STAY REAL behaviors.
- Ability to resolve adverse situations limiting management involvement.
- Ability to receive negative / constructive comments by guests.
