Line Cooks will preparebreakfast, lunch, and/or dinner items depending on shift worked.Examples of the types of food and beverage (F&B) products beingcooked/prepared are hot cereals, eggs, meats, fruits, vegetables,sandwiches, salads, soups, creams, sauces, broths, dressings, yogurts,burgers, pizzas, starches, grains, and legumes.Techniques used include cutting, sauteing, grilling, baking, frying,boiling, steaming, mixing, whisking, and blending. Tools/equipment usedinclude ovens, grills, pots, pans, knives, utensils,blenders, mixers, food processors, stand mixers, liquid dispensers, andwhisks. They will also be responsible for the set up and operation ofkitchen equipment that is used in food preparation. Keep workstationclean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked. Followsupervisor\'s assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well asfood production. Work cooperatively with co-workers and management. Ableto stand for long periods of time including bending, lifting, reaching,and stretching. Able to lift 20lbs or more and work under variabletemperatures. Responsibilities will also include ability to work in afast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and moverapidly to coordinate multiple orders.Will report directly to the Kitchen Supervisor/Executive Chef at DNCParks and Resorts at Grand Canyon, Inc.Six (6) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volumeenvironment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employersexpense.Applicant may be required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and/orsubmit to regular testing if required under state or federal guidelines.Travel is not required.Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided.On-the-job training is provided.Wage: \$18.13 - \$20.13 per hour, paid weekly. Overtime is available at\$27.20 - \$30.20 per hour. Employees may be eligible for period wageincreases based on performance or other factors.When offered, associates could be eligible to receive a seasonal or anyother available bonus. When offered, associates could be eligible toreceive a seasonal or any other available bonus. When offered, theamount is dependent upon the length of season the associate worked, andwork performance. Whether or not to use the bonus for the season is upto the discretion of the Leadership Team.Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can includeevening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day ofthe week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am to 12:00pm,7:00am to 2:00pm, or 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Shift hours may vary.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis forworkers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing,including utilities, if accepted, ranges from \$45.00 - \$83.00 per weekdepending on housing situation (type of room, location, etc.). If used,total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. If used, totalcost of housing will be deducted from paycheck.Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for workers solebenefit, including but not limited to medical, dental and visioninsurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee osts/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer willpay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation andsubsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Uponcompletion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employerwill pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonableinbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek.The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for allreasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the lastworkweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will beequal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for thedistances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of\$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day withreceipts.The employer
