The Cleaner is responsible for keeping assigned areas clean by sweeping, cleaning machines, and removing waste. Additionally, adjust coolant to maintain proper fluid levels and optimal chemical properties and dispose trash.
Availability - 2nd Shift
Responsibilities
SPECIFIC DUTIES: The duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Clean various department working areas and equipment.
- Sweep floors.
- Remove chips and other waste from machines and deliver to proper waste bins.
- Clean machines, fixtures, stock and pans.
- Maintain and replace coolants in machines when applicable.
- Adjust coolant acidity and other chemical parameters.
- Obtain supplies from General Stores.
- Paint various equipment, machines, cabinets and walls as required.
- Perform other similar and related duties.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Vacuum sump cleaner, barrel wrench, hand and power lift trucks and sweepers, floor scrubber, broom, rake, hammer, spray equipment, shovel, chip hook, compactor, hoist, oil separator.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High School diploma or GED
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
PREFERRED
- Manfuacturing expierence
