Janitor Department: Facilities Employment Type: Full Time Location: Huntington, New York Compensation: $17.00 / hour Description West Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to join our dedicated team. This essential role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout our hospital to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients and clients. Responsibilities Include: Sweeping, mopping, and dusting all areas of the hospital Disinfecting bathrooms, surface areas, and high-touch points regularly Taking out trash and replacing liners throughout the hospital Ensuring all common areas, treatment rooms, and restrooms are clean and well-stocked Supporting a hygienic environment for staff, clients, and animals Skills Knowledge and Expertise Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean work environment Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match
