Contract to Hire Weekly Pay Medical Benefits after 30 Days Position Overview: An established and respected packaging and printing manufacturer is seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician (Craftsman IV) to join its team in Matthews, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled electrician or maintenance technician who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Execute preventive maintenance programs using CMMS software Maintain facility systems such as HVAC, compressed air, and boilers Participate in capital projects, upgrades, and equipment installations Promote and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing hazards Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal safety protocols Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician, maintenance technician, or electromechanical craftsman Certification or hands-on expertise in one or more of the following: o Electrical wiring o HVAC systems o Welding o Pipe fitting o Hydraulics Strong skills in equipment troubleshooting and repair Familiarity with CMMS systems, PLC interfaces, and tools like SharePoint or Wonderware Able to perform basic math, read technical documents, and use digital tools for communication Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, use ladders, and work in confined spaces Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
