Bartender Position Type: Part-Time Compensation: $13 #EXP500 Position Summary: Job Summary Hiring for a vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to raising donations for charities around the state of Montana. We host a variety of community-focused events and are looking for a personable, dedicated bartender to join our team and support our events. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent service during our functions, all while contributing to a cause that makes a positive impact. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on preferences. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate sales reporting. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to maintain service efficiency. Adhere to all food handling guidelines and ensure proper food safety practices are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable. Experience Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously without compromising quality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting; familiarity with retail math is a plus. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Shift Availability: We are currently working out specific shift schedules but here are the hours we are open: Wednesday - Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday: 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sunday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour + tips.
