Full Time Hotel House-person 3pm-11pm $16.35 Hourly

• Works Evening shift. 3pm-11pm Weekends Required.
• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Empties all trash
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• • Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor, remove non-floor closet items and store in appropriate areas.
  • Respond to guests requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, t.p., etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas for assigned floors.
  • Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
  • Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
  • May assist with other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications and Requirements:

  This job requires ability to perform the following:

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and or pulling items up to 300 pounds
  • Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
  • Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling,
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role
