Our Kitchen Stewards are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness in the kitchen.
This is a PART-time position.

Your Focus

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors and clean trash cans.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Perform food preparation functions in the event of staffing shortages or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to cleanlieness.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Assists with prep as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends, etc.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping and kneeling.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stewarding experience required or equivalent training.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots Maintains dish room and dish machine Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans Removes all garbage Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized Assists with cleaning other areas of restaurant as requested Perform various other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of High School education preferred Previous experience in a similar role required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work flexible hours and shifts Ability to multi-task Team player PERKS/BENEFITS Work Today, Get Paid today with DailyPay !
