Performs general maintenance and repairs for City facilities, including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting areas, and other cleaning duties.

- Dusts chairs, tables, shelves, and other furniture or equipment; cleans and polishes furniture and metal or woodwork.
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; replaces toilet paper and paper towels.
- Vacuums, sweeps, mops, and buffs the floors; shampoos carpet.
- Collects and disposes of trash and debris both indoor and outdoor.
- Performs minor repairs of leaking water lines, as needed; unclogs sinks and commodes.
- Performs general errands including delivering and distributing mail.
- Performs related work as required.

Position will have the following exposures
- Office or similar indoor environment, relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards.

Required Education and Experience
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Required Licenses or Certifications
- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
