Custodian (Full-Time)

Duties

Responsible for attaining a high standard of cleanliness & maintenance of school

building, both during and outside of student attendance hours.

Respond to building needs in real-time as they arise such as spills and bathroom

cleanup/maintenance.

Responsible for receiving building supplies and taking them to the proper location.

Reports to the building Maintenance Supervisor.

Other duties as assigned by administration.

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED

Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience with building maintenance and/or cleaning in a professional environment

preferred

Ability to read & understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety

procedures

Knowledge of minor repair techniques, and building & ground maintenance

Ability to operate cleaning equipment & lift heavy equipment

Ability to handle cleaning supplies

Positive interpersonal skills

Salary: Negotiable with Superintendent based on experience

Schedule & Time Off

37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Year round position with paid holidays

12 sick days and 3 personal days per year

Eligible for 10 vacation days after 1 year of employment
