We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team with a primary focus on a la carte operations . This role oversees the day-to-day execution of our restaurant and in-room dining menus, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in upscale, high-volume a la carte kitchens and a commitment to culinary innovation and team development.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in upscale, high-volume a la carte kitchens and a commitment to culinary innovation and team development.
In addition to leading the a la carte operation, this position will occasionally support banquet food preparation as business needs require, ensuring seamless collaboration across all culinary functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the a la carte kitchen operation, ensuring the timely and consistent execution of all dishes according to brand standards and guest expectations
- Supervise and train line cooks and kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing, cohesive team
- Monitor and maintain quality, presentation, portion control, and food safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu development and implementation
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and cost control to meet productivity and financial targets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in compliance with local health regulations and company policies
- Assist in the ordering and inventory of food supplies to support a la carte and banquet service needs
- Occasionally assist with banquet food preparation and execution , ensuring consistency across all F&B outlets
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and culinary excellence
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong background in a la carte dining operations within a hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar environment
- Experience in banquet or catering operations is a plus
- Knowledge of current culinary trends, plating techniques, and dietary accommodations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
