House Cleaner and Organizer (Emphasis on Organizational Skills)

We are a professional family of three with two cats seeking a reliable and trustworthy house cleaner with VERY strong organizational skills. This part-time position focuses primarily on organizing for approximately 20 hours and 8 hours of cleaning weekly.
Requirements:
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to sort and categorize various items, ensuring everything has a designated place and is effectively labeled.
- Capable of taking inventory of household items and organizing them efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and phone; must be in good health as light to heavy lifting may be required.
- Minimum cleaning experience at the least with a strong emphasis on organizational capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, efficient in cleaning and tidying spaces.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently within specified timeframes.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be positive, honest, and a non-smoker (smoking outside only).
- Have the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. We embrace a multicultural environment and collect items from various cultures including Christianity, Buddhism, and Hinduism, so comfort with diversity is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including laundry, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, dusting, dishwashing, and most importantly various organizational projects.
- Clean bathrooms and bedrooms, handle trash disposal, wash windows, change bedding, and potentially run errands.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible M-F scheduling with around 20 - 30 hours per week. Paid bi-monthly via w-2.
Please Note:
- A background check will be conducted, and individuals with a criminal history will not be considered.
- We are not looking for individuals who take excessive breaks or require lengthy lunch breaks; please note, breaks are unpaid. A time clock is provided.
- Slow workers, chatters, drug users, careless workers, or those with a history of dishonesty need not apply.
- We expect at least three days to two weeks' notice for time off or vacations. In case of illness or emergencies, prompt communication is required.
Our home is located in a safe neighborhood near the Police Station and Fire Department, with indoor and outdoor cameras for added security.
All supplies will be provided, and you will receive a daily or weekly to-do list. Monthly deep cleaning tasks will also be assigned. If you have any concerns, please communicate them so we can address them appropriately.
