.75 FTE Cafeteria Worker

Description: This position will support the Food Service Director and other food service staff in the cafeteria for six hours per day, four days a week.

Job Summary: The cafeteria worker is responsible for supporting daily operations in the cafeteria. This may include cleaning and disinfecting dishes, tables, and equipment in the cafeteria, preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, and any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working in teams to accomplish a common goal. Food service experience preferred.

We are a small isolated school district that serves around 130 students K-12. North Park itself is a rural ranching community that values education and hard work. This position is mostly indoors, but may require exiting the building for certain tasks. The majority of the day will be spent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Contract Terms: The cafeteria worker is hired as a nine month employee (160 days) for six hours a day.

Salary: The cafeteria worker base pay is $15.34 per hour. Starting pay depends on experience.
